The Birthday of Goddess Saraswati
Basant Panchami is the birthday of Maa Saraswati. People all over India celebrate the birth of the Goddess of wisdom and knowledge, music and all arts(Maa Saraswati). They worship in home, temples,school and colleges that's way Goddess Saraswati is called as "Vidya Ki Devi". Many families mark this day by sitting with babies and young children to write their first words with their fingers.
